Severe Lower Back Pain gone!

As a result of working in construction for nearly 25 years, I have suffered with severe back pain and discomfort for a major part of my life. I've tried everything available to me; pain pills, herbal heat/ice pack treatments, back braces, different brands of expensive sleep mattresses and several years of sporadic visits to various chiropractors and massage therapists. (No success!) Whatever relief I ever got was only temporary, and before I knew it, I was miserable again, in agony over the constant, relentless pain. I felt like an "Old Man" all the time. I would often comment to my wife/family that my single most fervent prayer was that, "Just for one day, I wish that I could wake up in the morning without any pain in my back." Everyone knew about my back problems, but we were all helpless to find a lasting solution.

One day, my wife, Linda, was coming out of Dr. Daniel's & Dr. Davis' office when she encountered an old friend, Joe Mendez, at the elevator. During their conversation, he mentioned that he had just been to visit his chiropractor, Dr Rupp, at West Coast Chiropractic Carlsbad and how much his own health issues had improved. Joe encouraged my wife to tell me about "this cool guy," and guaranteed I would see definite results if l started seeing him. When Linda came home and told me about it, I was immediately skeptical about going to see another chiropractor! But after a few weeks, I decided to call his chiropractor since the office was so close to our house and I was desperate! It was the BEST decision I've ever made! (Thanks a lot, Joe!) From the first moment I walked into West Coast Chiropractic Carlsbad, and was greeted so warmly, and saw how kind every one was to the patients, and how happy everyone seemed, I sensed it was going to be a good experience. That observation was verified when I met Dr. Rupp! After nearly 8 months of care, I can honestly say my prayers have been answered. I no longer have to slowly roll out of bed each morning. I can get straight up without that agonizing pain in my lower back. I can even bend over and pick things up from the floor. What a miracle!

I am truly grateful that I made the decision to go to West Coast Chiropractic Carlsbad.  Dr. Rupp has not only helped me to be pain free, but he has also taught me basic principles about health that have helped to improve my life all the way around. I have met some really good people through this process, and I never hesitate to encourage our friends to try a chiropractor. Looking back at all the years I suffered, I know now that God had a plan for me, even though I couldn't see it. It took me a long time to get where I am right now, but I know that "all things worked together for good," and I thank God for leading me to Dr. Rupp and for the healing.

My family and I were first introduced to Dr. Derek Rupp in early 2005 at a birthday party for a mutual friend of our sons. At the time, my husband and I were each visiting our own separate chiropractors on a weekly basis. Repeatedly, we had both been invited to "have our kids come in for an exam," but had never acted on it for several reasons. First, my boys, Lukas (4 1/2 and Jack (1 1/2), were in great physical shape and they had never yet had any major injuries or falls in their young lives. Second, neither of us got the feeling that our respective chiropractor had much experience with toddlers or young children. A lack of pressing ailments, coupled with no enticing offers, kept our kids clear of any doctor's offices other than regular checkups with their pediatrician.

Shortly after our meeting, Jack got his second ear infection of the year. While annoying, I didn't make an extra big deal of it because it was cold season. They were going around, and since it was only his second one ever, I didn't feel they would be a chronic problem. It was when the third one arrived soon thereafter, that I knew I had to take a new course of action. In good conscience, I couldn't make yet another $25 co-pay trip to the pediatrician's office just for them to prescribe him a fresh dose of ineffective antibiotics and possibly mention or suggest the dreaded "ear tubes." (In my humble opinion, aside from an artificial heart or other lifesaving device, I cannot grasp the urgency of placing a foreign object in one's body without first exhausting all other legitimate treatments.) Desperate for an effective lasting remedy, I thought of giving West Coast Chiropractic Carlsbad a try.  I called Dr. Rupp's office and brought Jack to see him later that day.

While Jack didn't remember meeting Dr. Rupp at the previously mentioned birthday party, they had no problem warming up to each other. He could see that Jack was in pain, and Jack realized Dr. Rupp was there to help him. It makes sense ... he is a father, after all, and obviously has experience dealing with ailing kids. After a few visits during that week, and NO antibiotics, Jack was back to perfect health. He has not experienced another ear infection since! Lukas, my older son, began getting adjustments from Dr. Rupp following Jack's first appointment, and I joined in soon thereafter, leaving my previous chiropractor for the care of Dr. Rupp and his associates. Once my husband's term with his current chiropractor is finished, I have no doubt that he will join us. Dr. Rupp, and the other chiropractors at West Coast Chiropractic Carlsbad, have a special way of making my kids feel welcome and comfortable. And, for me, if it means "no more ear infections" and an all-around healthy family, then I'm 100% satisfied.

15 Years of Lower Back Pain gone in 3 months!

Dr Rupp is a truly amazing chiropractor. I have suffered with low back pain for most of my adult life. My neck pain has been causing problems for the past 15 years. I have self medicated forever. Ever since I started getting adjusted by Dr Rupp at West Coast Chiropractic Carlsbad, my low back and neck pain has improved. After 3 months of regular chiropractic care, the pain was completely gone. I have NEVER had low back pain since!

I continue to come and get adjusted because it makes me feel balanced, healthier and more full of energy.  Thank you Dr Rupp!! I will always refer my friends andfamily to West Coast Chiropractic Carlsbad...
